The way forward
Evolution through reconnection and love.
It was a dream, I can’t remember it, but the words at the end were very clear;
‘As they once found fire to light their way, they will find that love will do the same’
Who are ‘they’ - obviously us. Then who was speaking? Always a good ponder. Is this memory as ancient those pre-solar grains found on meteorites billions of years old or something else, watching, waiting patiently for humans to catch up to things that should be obvious to most by now.
Our disconnection is like a fire burning through the world at rapid speeds.
People turning away from each other, refusing to acknowledge the terrible events in other parts of the world because ‘it’s not our problem’.
Children being raised and programmed in some parts of the world to absolutely hate people of another race.
This hate is spread collectively, rooted in fear and survival, and it isn’t one we can turn away from or run from, it’s one we must walk through, together.
How do we know though who is right and who is wrong?
Well, we don’t need to.
You see, when you are raised in beliefs they are just that and ‘they’ are right.
Even if to many they appear ‘wrong’ this is all you know and therefore it is ‘right’.
Collectively, we need to encourage each other to reach a little deeper than that without judgement.
This is a small part of what love does.
It encourages expansion through self awareness.
It reminds us to look at what we truly feel in our heart and extend that to others without the blinding history, tales, and beliefs that weigh us down.
I like to think we are evolving and love is the path forward, not the love we may have known but one that runs much deeper in each of us, one that connects everything and all together.
This type of love, once seen, can’t be unseen and from there - everything changes.
And that change starts with each of us.
Understanding ourselves more to understand others.
To hold our beliefs gently without condemning others for not holding the same.
It feels like it’s certainly time to start finding our way.
